Мы ведь все хотим такого названия? Сколько Барду проектов штамповать? Умный мужичек, экономист-затейник,клоун, сценическая проститутка? Как вы относитесь к остальным проектам? С такой же любовью или, наоборот?
Пониться, когда я появилась на форуме(уже более полугода назад),- моя первая тема была в том же ключе, что и эта. Так тогда мне вежливо сказали, чтобы я "не повторялась"("Sad situation" и т.д.). wonder, не стоит мусолить то, что не стоит. Сначала войди в курс дела, а затем берись задавать подобные вопросы

It's easy. VACUUM is a well-known brand with high level of brand awareness. It sounds well, it's easy to remember and to spell. With all my respect to Mattias it would be stupid to use his own name for band. So he is absolutely right to use VACUUM. And moreover, friends. I do not like A.Bard and his carrier (except V//), but it is great that he did not reserve VACUUM name to himself or any of his numerous cheap pop-projects.

I see no reason for Mattias to trade under his own name..... since we have heard the path that Alexander has taken with BWO it seems more than right to me that mattias IS Vacuum.... And I am sure that mattias said in an interview at some point that Vacuum would be an umbrella for ideas that would all be part of vacuum.... OTher bands loose members and still remain the same... Depeche Mode for instance have lost 2 members along the journy but remain Depeche Mode..... and i think that also for marketing reasons it was a good idea to maintain the old name..... in countries that vacuum were successful it was a way for mattas new stronger material to be heard..... I think vacuum will always be a flexible object whoever the performers... and then there is the songwriting partnership of lindblom/Woolbeck which in my opinion is a seperate project.. writing and producing for other artists..... I like the idea that vacuum are a band that can evolve under one banner..... who knows future albums may sound even more different than the recent one...... so should we say each time there is a shift in musical direction that a band should change its name..... If this is the case then david Bowie would have had hundreds of names by now.....
For me Mattias IS vacuum... its that simple in my eyes.... and THANKYOU Power for translating the topic of this discussion for me..

Let me remind you, that Vacuum is not *just* Mattias nowadays, you always forget that Anders Wollbeck is also involved. 50% of the band is still there, since it used to be 4 people. It's up to them if they decided to keep the name, they have a full right to do so.

Sure, but Mattias is frontman. It is always definitely more that 50% of the band...;-)) You know Dave Gahan will always be more DM than Martin even when songs are mostly written by Martin. Even when Gore sings some of them. And Morten Harket will always be A-Ha, no matter who is the author of music and lyrics Morten himself, Magne or Paul.
From the other hand. I am sure most of V// fans loved it for ennormous unbelieveable voice of Mattias. So I agree with David 100%. As for me Mattias is VACUUM as well. Not depending on who is an author of all songs and who is playing keyboards.

К другим проектам Барда я отношусь без предубеждений. У каждой группы, созданной этим человеком, есть песни, которые мне нравятся. И у каждой из этих групп есть свои поклонники! Так что, пускай штампует, флаг ему в руки и медальку за заслуги... А насчет названия группы, здесь я не буду оригинальным, и скажу то, что уже много раз говорилось: зачем начинать всё с нуля, вкладывать, большие деньги и раскручивать новое имя, когда уже есть неплохая платформа.

Про сценическую проститутку, это конечно сильно завернули. Любви к Маттиасу и его проекту (к счастью) у меня не наблюдается. Мне нравятся все его детища, включая MIDI MAXI & ELFI и Кристину Агилеру.

Закономерный вопрос: а почему ты посещаешь этот (или именно этот) форум, если поклонником Вакуума не являешься? Или я неправильно истолковала смысл слова "любовь" в твоем посте?
