That's tooo much . I think Tarja Turunen from "Nightwish" with her opera-like vocal is exactly what we need
Gunny, before the end of the Nightwish era, Tarja has performed wonderful duet with German pop-singer Martin Kesici. This song 'Leaving You for Me' has won aprize at some German contest. Quite interesting video was shot.
Why do I post it here? Just because Martin has nice voice and in First lines it sounds very close to Mattias's one.
If one needs, I can put a link to video (shity quality, but small file). And can upload mp3 somewhere.

Oh! A new album! I'm so excited!!! I can't wait for it!
It's known for sure that there'll be a part sung in Swedish?
Tarja Turunen and Mattias together would be a blissful combination.
Especially if Tarja sings in Finnish. Brute will be excited!...

This is how an Internet rumor gets started... No, there is no indication of any Swedish vocals on the new album. It's just a wish from one of our friends here (I forget who).

I hope it won't be recorded and mixed at Depression Studio
"All greatest songs were composed in depression time" A. Bard That's what I heard from his interwiev on TV a few years ago.
And what he said is absolutely true That's why BWO isn't good as his previous works. Alexander is much happier and calmer now ( entering his halcyon days )
but this statement doesn’t have much connection with YWLILUTT.
Bard said “greatest” not “depressive” songs.
YWLILUTT is a an album with mostly depressive songs. Was Mattias in depresion time when he wrote them ? I don’t know – at least he always talks how happy he is – “enjoying in every new day” ( his words ! ). And if he is depressed, well, unfortunately it isn’t enough just to be in depression to make a masterpiece.
On other hand, not one Bard’s song is depressive, but “depression” time is a state in which masterpieces are born. And masterpieces are never depressive songs.
For example ABBA had lots of sad songs about love, but none of them is depressive. They are masterpieces
I have nothing against Mattias writing sad songs about love, just not to be depressive ones ...

I think, that the question is "depression", as about mood in amoment the song has been written, not about mood during the period of life. And I agree with Bard, in such mood masterpieces are born. Also I agree with Mattias's words:: " Creative mood is almost always a melancholy at times passing in depression "
