Hey, Vacuum fans! New “Void” single is going to be released very song and as far as I understand, it also means that soon we’ll see new Vacuum video! What are your expectations about it, how do you imagine it?

Well, this is how I would imagine video for The Void :
First pictures of vast landscapes covered with snow and during the chorus two parallel things showing by turns, alternately … first Mattias in a car, driving, his eyes set on the road in the night as car headlights light the “forest white” around … and then separate scenes of a white wolf running through these vast snow covered landscapes … the wolf’s face and eyes in the foreground … and so these two different scenes showing in turns in a rather quick rhythm, following the chorus.
And at the end … scenes where Mattias sees beautiful colours in the sky , something like polar light and he stops the car and gets out to see it and then a scene where a wolf also stops running and looks at the very same painted sky …
Well, I don't know is this snowy version suitable for a summer hit, but that is how I imagine it

Well, as far as I know, according to the "laws" of musical indusstry, single's promotion should be supported by video, in other case it calls "radio single" (no separated CD for selling, no Video)

No rules. It is just common practice now for bands with high awareness, strong promotion and huge budgets. For bands who really play worldwide. In this case the investments for videos pay back to labels and bands. ANd channels are happy to have them in rotation. Otherwise people rather go for low-budgeted videos for local channels. E.g. Rammsteins have issued four singles (for now) to their latest album. And shot 4 videos to theese songs. Still not all the videos were released in singles. Some ones were separated for rotation on TV. But pop-bands like Rammstein now can really shoot the videos for all album tracks. folks will eat it
