V//PPL! I think that idea is very interesting! But as I tried to make 1st poster I understood that it’s a hard work… Do you think we have enough time? BTW, if somebody has free idea – feel free to tell about it! (or better send me by e-mail )

Lyrics: If I want to make a hyper-link (just stupid hyper-link!) to Microsoft Corporation Site on my web-page, I HAVE TO read "General Microsoft Trademark Guidelines", "Microsoft Logo Guidelines" and finally "Microsoft Link Logos" articles, so I will know where, how and what content I may use without stealing Microsoft's Intellectual Property. All I wanted to say - Copyright is a bit sophisticated term.
Reality: Look at the Anti-piracy Posters Gallery. I know, that making a unique poster is a bit complicated process, so everybody's desided to make collages,... well, why not? BUT: Don't you think it is alittle alogical - to use someone's copyrighted material in the Anti-piracy Posters Contest, huh? Using these strange methods you are endangering the contest's main idea!
Or I have mistaken? May be those posters with "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl" movie samples were made by someone from Touchstone Pictures or by Mr. Disney himself?

FREEDOM of artwork FOREVER
I personally don’t consider collages as an infringement. There are a lot of artists all over the world working in photo-collage genre.
About “Pirates of the Caribbean”. I think if would be illegal to make a low-budget movie and to try to get money by alike posters and name. And using some elements of well-known poster in order to make fun, I suppose, is legal enough. Why not?
And one more thing. Why don’t you try to create poster without using “strange methods” and win the competition?

Why not? Ask Mattias.

Dear Aniv, there are some reasons why I do not want to participate this contest: 1. Stupidity of idea HERE, in .su-zone: when anti-piracy posters are created using illegal copies of Photoshop (or other software) - the contest becomes a FARCE. 2. I absolutely sure, that unknown neo-Vacuum does not suffer from any piracy. 3. And at last, do I want to get any prizes? Nope.
But: If the translation of your last question is "If you can not do anything, so keep the silence", I have something for you... Actually I did one picture at the very beginning of the competition. But it's not for Contest, but about it. Here it is.
2. I absolutely sure, that unknown neo-Vacuum does not suffer from any piracy.
Exactly suffers. Much more than worldwide known artists.
To Aniv (And I mean not only this topic )
