Vacuum is the subject of interest for 6 communities and 52 users of LJ (Live Journal). But there is some suspicion that somebody of them is interested not in music, but in real vacuum (cosmic or something else). Nobody has written anything about new album of Swedish band Vacuum so far. And it’s no wonder – try to memorize that intricate and significant title. And music of the album itself is that – one can write about it not so easy. Underlined-standard electro-pop of 120 bpm without distinctive peculiarities and catching melodies, very intellectual, with nice male vocal. It makes to recall discrete electro-pop of 80nth, A-HA first of all.
After Alexander Bard’s leaving Vacuum has changed much. Mattias Lindblom and Anders Wollbeck stopped making pops and create serious music for serious people.
They say to journalists that they expect to sell 4 000 000 copies of the album in enigmatic and advanced country named Russia. So, will see – in principle there are quite enough serious people here. And many remember that Vacuum is such a music.
