So, in the 25th of April I appeared in Moscow to see the concert of "Vacuum". The performance took place in the night club-casino "Golden Palace", and to enter the club you should book a table in a week before the event. However, it was not such a big problem, as there were lots of empty tables in the day of Vacuum concert. The club ticket cost 1550 roubles (50 USD), what was the usual payment for entrance to casino - with "Vacuum" in show programm or without "Vacuum". For all these 50 USD I got 10 counters, which I had to spend inside the club for the things I'd like. But for the visitors of the club there was not a wide choice, as first of all they must book a food for almost all counters. So the concert program started at 23:00 with the order of salman and sturgeon flesh.
To easy sadness of the public, not "Vacuum" appeared on the stage, but 4 people dressed in white and called "Modum" band. They should bang the public before "Vacuum" concert. It's not the best tradition in such kind of events in my opinion. Fortunately, soon the voice from dynamics announced, that "Vacuum" are almost ready for the performance. And actually we could see the guitarist Fredrik and keyboardist Olaf, who were appearing on the stage from time to time checking the technique and microphones. A special bottle of water for Mattias appeared on the stage too. The checking was lasting for half an hour, and at that time some DJ entertained us with his compositions, finished with the remix of "I Breathe". In the end of the remix at last smiled Mattias Lindblom came on the stage and hailed the applauded visitors. He was not shaved as always, with curled haidoo and dressed in stripped jacket. The performance started with the "Power" song, which was met with cries and applause from the hall. Probably the tasty club menu had its influence to the legs of the visitors, so besides some fans with photocams there was nobody to stand near the stage. Mattias wanted to repair such a situation right after the song. Asking the public, if they want to dance, he invited them to come to the stage and support the performance. The visitors made it willingly. So the song "Culture Of Night" was performed for danced fans around the stage. The atmosphere became warm, and Mattias constantly stimulated the visitors, even when he was singing "Culture Of Night". After the song Mattias said, he hope the visitors feel free, and announced the song, which we had never heard before - "Fools like me". He said, it is very sad song. As nobody knew the lyrics of it, the visitors kept silence during the performance. The song was good, at least I liked it. In some moments of the song Mattis sang high notes like he did in "Starting Where The Sotry Ended", and the new one is something average between "Starting" and "Last Man Standing", so the direction of Vacuum new style becomes clear.
After the song Mattias asked, if we liked it, and the loud applause said, that pubclic was glad. After that Mattias said a couple of jokes about Russian Popstars. The next song was announced like very personal song, and the first chords of "My Melting Mood" with rythmic claps started to sound. Starting from this song, Mattias offered fans to sing some choruses, what added more freedom and fun. The next "Icaros" was sung by a half of the public!
After the Icaros Mattias announced, that he would like to perform some songs acustically with the help of guitarist Fredrik. The first song, he performed, was according his words one his favourite songs "Anas song" (again it was performed in a new Vacuum style, which I've already wrote about). Then there was acoustic "Let The Mountain Come To Me". Before this song Mattias asked public, if they know the lyrics, so in the end the song was performed by the sing-alone fans almost completely. Mattias enjoyed the performance and said, it was nice! The next song was "What kind of fool", which Mattias called "too melancholic". After it Mattias said, he would perform the song he'd written in Russia. Everybody understood, what song he had just meaned, just after he called it - "Starting Where The Story Ended". During "I Breathe" performance Mattias came to the hall from the stage and walked among the public. He offered them to sing with him and everybody agreed to sing.
After the song Mattias thanked the public, said good bye and left the stage, but the cries "We want more!" made him to come back. "How more do you want?" - he asked, and a fan near me said: "Till the morning...". However Mattias sang just one more song - "Science of the sacred" with very long music play in the end. There was not possible to demand more. The frontman of "Vacuum" said goodbye to the public again and left the stage. Fredrik and Olaf took the technique and other things from the stage for 5 minutes and them also went away. Right after the concert the main part of the public left the club, and for the next 30 minutes the rest people went away, so there was nobody in the club and it was closed. The bright concert finished and everyone brought home a part of it.

After the concert Mattias with some Russian friends managed to visit Red Square. There it was freezing cold, and Mattias had been wearing only a T-shirt and jacket, so they walked for only about 7-10 minutes, took some pictures, and headed to the hotel. His aircarft to Sankt-Peterburg left the Moscow at about 10:30 in the moring of 26th of April.
